The town of Marblehead is situated on the northshore of Massachusetts and is home to approximately 20,000 residents. The picturesque landscape has been home to many in the fishing and yachting industry historically over the years. During the latter part of the 19th century, Marblehead did experience a brief stint in the shoemaking business with factories springing up in the town. During that period of time, yachting and yacht clubs became more and more popular in the town and soon Marblehead was home to six clubs in the area.
Today, Marblehead still remains a popular destination with some looking to visit the beautiful coastline while others seek the perfect nautical town to settle down in and call home. Steeped in history, Marblehead has over 200 homes and buildings that predate the Revolutionary War.
